Sally and Bradley's Firestone Wedding

We absolutely loved the multi-cultural elements of this celebration in Santa Barbara’s wine country! Sally and Bradley chose to exchange vows on the terrace of the world-renowned Firestone Winery, overlooking the vinescape below and towering surrounding Santa Ynez Mountains. The lively colors they chose for the wedding were especially prominent at the wedding ceremony, where the couple were framed as they performed a NeoPagan handfasting ceremony. This tradition, some say, dates back to the ancient Celts and is where the marriage union is blessed as the bride and groom’s hands are tied together with a sacred ribbon, “tying the knot”.

After the ceremony, the guests adjourned to the Courtyard where mariachis swept everyone up in lively energy and fun while they sipped on Sangria and Sally and Bradley’s signature Champagne Cocktail. Rather than a traditional sign-in book, guests signed small pieces of wood with their names for the couple to make part of a decorative framed tree that will hang in their home for years to come (see photo below). Every part of this wedding was festive , fresh and intimate. It was all about family.
