When someone asks us “What is a great quintessential Santa Barbara location that really showcases the flavor of Santa Barbara?” It is almost always certain that we will recommend The Santa Barbara Historical Museum as one of the loveliest settings here. The layout allows for different set up options and the flavor is Spanish courtyard and at night, with the right lighting and soft glow of candles, it is simply magical. Best of all, with the backdrop already set, decor is minimal and choosing a menu that reflects the Hispanic history and culture of this area allows guests to have a true “taste of Santa Barbara.”
The Menu: Hors D’oeuvres: Jalapeno and Bacon Quesadilla, Salsa Bar (including Traditional Salsa, Corn & Black Bean Salsa, Pineapple & Mango Salsa & Tomatillo & Apple Salsa with Tri-Color Tortilla Chips and our Freshly-Made Guacamole to spice it up); Chicken Flautas Dinner Buffet (Salsipuedes Buffet) Beef, Chicken and Vegetable Fajitas
Spanish Rice Seasoned with Fresh Herbs & Spices; Pinto Beans; Fiesta Side Salad
(Field Greens with Black Beans, Jicama, Tomatoes, Sweet Corn, Olives, Topped with Crispy Tortilla Strips and Homemade Fiesta Dressing); Corn Tortillas and Flour Tortillas; Tortilla Chips, Salsa, Sour Cream & Guacamole; Mexican Cornbread; Mini Dessert Buffet (TresLeche Cake, Mexican Churros,Mexican Cookies)

Special Touches: We especially loved the decor and small touches this couple did to tie in the Spanish heritage – from brightly colored table cloths to empty tequila bottles to succulents, they decided to just add some enhancements to this already picture perfect Santa Barbara wedding location.
